| Adelphi
presented on two market access themes at this
year's PBIRG meeting. In PBIRG's Research Excellence
session, Tom Nolte and Helena Cannon presented
the award winning paper
"Modeling Price-Volume-Revenue Relationships".
This outlined a methodology to demystify the challenges
of determining the optimal price and demand for
new products. Outputs can be modeled to account
for variations in multiple factors including price,
restriction levels, efficacy levels, patient outcomes,
input to forecasting and clinical development
Adelphi also presented a session in the PBIRG
University Series. The workshop "Addressing
the 4th Hurdle" addressed six key questions
• What is market access?
• How does market access work?
• How does it impact on products?
• How do we approach market access?
• What tools do we have?
• Should we be thinking about a fifth hurdle?
