Travelling by car
From the M6
• If travelling north, exit Junction
17, follow the A534 to Congleton, then take the A536 to Macclesfield
• If travelling south, exit Junction 19 and follow the
A537 to Macclesfield
• Pass through Macclesfield, following the A523 towards
Stockport
• At the 2nd roundabout on the dual carriageway, take
the 3rd exit signposted Bollington
• Approximately
1 mile after
entering Bollington, the road goes downhill
• At the bottom of the hill, turn right by the ‘Bayleaf
Lounge' restaurant.
• Take the 2nd turning on your right (just before the
overhead canal bridge)
Travelling by plane
Manchester International Airport is
located approximately
20 minutes' drive from the Mill.
The approximate cost of a taxi if taking a taxi from outside
the airport is £20.

• Follow the A538 to Wilmslow
• Continue on the A538 towards Prestbury and Macclesfield
• At Prestbury, follow signs for Bollington
• Approximately

• Take the 2nd turning on your right (just before the
overhead canal bridge)
Travelling by rail
Macclesfield Station is
located approximately 10 minutes' drive from Adelphi Mill.
Taxis are available outside the station. The approximate cost
to the Mill is £6.
There are regular trains to and from central Manchester (journey
time approximately 20 minutes) and central London (journey
approximately
time 2 hours).
